On this post I am going to put up 5 pictures of art that I found the most interesting and I thought had some link to the theme 'the mind'.
The questions we had to answer were:
What does it make you think of?
What does it make you feel?
How does the piece link to the theme of the brain or mind?
The way how you see yourself compared to what others see
Uncomfortable
Manipulation- being uncertain about how things are
Mirror reflection- checking yourself out with the other copying you.
It makes me think of confusion and a complicated and not very clear thought process.
This makes me feel uncomfortable as it shows some sort of an illusion that is difficult to work out or think about.
This links to the mind because thought processes can be conflicting and not very clear and this is a prime example of that.
This makes me think about the same before with the other picture a thought process. This time it's a continuous formulation of something your mind is trying to tell you.
This makes me feel calm and open to what my brain is trying to physically tell me.
It links to the brain as it has a slow and calming motion, kind of like how your mind waves become when you are unconscious or asleep.

This makes me think of an object or image that represents an emotion.
This makes me feel open and intrigues to know what emotion and object could link to.
This relates to the mind because images and objects can stimulate feelings or thoughts that process through your mind.

This makes me think of a combination of emotions that relate with positive aspects of life and negative aspects of life.
It makes me feel curious to what it could mean on a personal level. The psychology of the image.
This links to the brain because emotions are identified by images/ objects and sometimes people differentiate the emotions and memories by comparing them to a specific colour or shape.
