Rope or wires and small machine that gives mild electric shocks.
Used inspiration from experiments people used on animals/people in order to try and understand/control the brain. We looked at how animals were conditioned to certain behaviours like how scientists attached wires to a dog’s head and shocked it every time it did something wrong.
Looking at a couple and their relationship. Both the man and woman have a buzzer and they press it (whenever they feel they should) and it gives their partner an electric shock. The buzzer will be used when a person is stimulated to use it; e.g. if one character says something to the other but they don't seem sincere ("i love you") they might click the buzzer. Or if one annoyed the other they would press the buzzer. Gradually we would show how the couple become conditioned to working together so their relationship changes positively. We could also present negative changes.
